Our Story
Andia grew up in a traditional Greek home, with a mom who cooked delicious meals and fresh desserts from scratch every night and a father who was a hardworking entrepreneur. Her now-husband of 30 years, George, also grew up in a Greek home with a history of love for ice cream that dates back to the 1920s.
When Andia, George, and their children, Alyssa and Alex, first started this adventure into the ice cream-making world in 2012, they had visions of creating an experience much like their own family. You know, the “big, fat, Greek family,” where everybody hangs out together and enjoys some great food and “parea” (Greek for good company and friendship).
Now, 10 years into the venture, Andia’s Ice Cream is a locally-made, multi-national award-winning company with 3 Raleigh-based shops and a social media following of almost 270k. We are so excited to be able to spread love and happiness through our delicious ice cream nation-wide!

I love the brulee on top of the ice cream. It was a better combo with ice cream than creme brulee in my opinion!
Amazing, freshly made ice cream, unique flavors, and an extremely friendly and helpful staff!! What’s not to love!? The line was long and out the door, but sooo worth the wait!! Just about every flavor we tried was delicious!
