Our Story
Growing up in a traditional Greek home, Andia learned to cook and bake from scratch alongside her entrepreneurial father, who built a successful food distribution business after immigrating from Cyprus. Inspired by her father's dedication and legacy, Andia now strives to honor him through her own business. Her husband George, who also has Greek roots, inherited a cherished ice cream scoop from his grandfather, which became a symbol of their family's love for ice cream.
In 2012, Andia and George, along with their children Alyssa and Alex, embarked on their ice cream venture, initially named The Freezing Pointe. Realizing the name didn't fully reflect their personal story, they rebranded to Andia's Homemade Ice Cream in 2016, integrating their family history and commitment to high-quality, small-batch ice cream. Since then, they've expanded with 4 retail stores, a thriving catering division, and international shipping while continuing to deliver exceptional ice cream and customer service with a heartfelt touch.
